I don't care if Mercury and Jaune find out, but Mercury's doing well and I'm not going to screw things up for him and Jaune's more likely to do something he shouldn't than I am.

Whether he actually is or not, she's not about to trust that. That's one of the problems- she'd trusted Cassian- she wasn't going to make that mistake again, man or machine. ]
