I saw that. You would think he would actually investigate or ask for details on people's abilities before making that claim. Even a low level psychic could probably deal with him if all he is is strength and energy attacks.
I'm also starting to think someone put some sort of curse on you or something that attracts jerks and or homicidal maniacs to you.
That's what I was thinking. The right magic seal, running him into the barrier, or if we had more information the species even using pressure points to block his abilities would probably be possible.

It's possible to psychically wall them off too. More like a mental block making it so they can't access their abilities. Truthfully, I don't know if doing something like that would be considered too drastic. But given what he is capable of..

But.. a girl tried to talk to me earlier about a trial for Battler, as if he deserved one. [ She obviously doesn't think he does. She'd rather he rot buried alive under ground than any other option, but she knows that won't work. He would run out of air, die, and come back with a vengeance. ]
Perhaps limitation entirely during a trial wouldn't be bad and a jury could do the final sentencing, so it isn't as though the people being consistently targeted are the ones who decide their fate. I'd be willing to have City Guardians who aren't personally attached to the case act as a judge if we have a method by which to restrain criminals during the cases.
I practically can. I have thousands of different abilities at my disposal. Though I spent most of my life being ruled by them and they price that having them came with. I've been referred to as the God Mutant. And truth be told I have killed actual gods before that came for my home planet.

I don't see what the point is. In some cases, I'm willing to concede that some people may deserve a proper trial. But when it's so blatantly obvious to the point where there is 0 doubt that the person did it, then the only thing that needs to be decided is how long they get. I'd be fine with locking Battler up for the next 100 years, because no one that revels in what they do that much is going to be changed by a year or two in jail.
It would also be far too easy for a jury to be corrupted or intimidated as well. At least if we are talking normal people.

Almost anyone can be paid off and if the person has the ability to manipulate minds, it won't matter what they do. It isn't as though we are committing people without evidence, but people like Battler don't deserve a chance to speak. I more meant.. for others, if they have powers like that Freeza's. He may just calm down and there won't be an issue, like Azula had, but if he's as bad as they're saying..
I'm glad too. Things could have been so terrible if I didn't. All things considered, you have come out well after everything you have been through as well. [He knew she wasn't likely all together after her ordeals. But she was still doing her job. Most wouldn't even be capable of that. So it's still impressive, to say the least.]
Imprisonment without evidence wouldn't sit well with anyone. [He knew a good few superheros that wouldn't like it either. Even if they were sure the person was evil.] Yeah. If he is actively a threat with the powers and abilities he has, he's a safety risk for everyone.
I do hope that all he needs to do is calm down. Maybe evaluate his situation and realize his old ways won't work. But again, he's a genocidal maniac and he knows it, so there might be no hope at all for that.
I do have to question the selection process of the spirits at a time like this, though.
I'm... keeping how I feel down as much as I can because there are people who need me to. I've still got one person I feel like I can talk to but I'm a fast learner. I can't share with most of the people I want to talk to, and I probably need severe therapy.

Jaune had already said that Weiss's actions had been what had stopped him from giving up, and Blake had yelled at her for expressing something Blake didn't agree with. Ruby was gone, and Flynt.. Flynt had tried, at least, but it was hard to feel like she wanted to have what Flynt was to her with anyone. Anyone who had been involved wasn't someone Weiss could share her burden with, even if they had held part of it. ]
No offense to half of the people in this place, but just because the spirits aren't actively trying to rip our souls out as a midday snack doesn't mean they're on our side. I'd like to do a lot more than question their intentions.
